The story goes through eleven short games

Hide and seek at home. Aunt Polly looks behind the curtain, in the wardrobe and under the bed, where only the cat is sleeping. Tom is in the pantry with the jam.
The yard: a sheet on the line, the henhouse, a lilac bush with a hedgehog.
To the river over stepping stones, so Tom keeps his feet clean. Wading with Huck, three treasures hidden in the water.
On the way home Tom slips and sits down in the mud. Your child pulls him out, then washes him in the tub and dresses him.
Dinner in the kitchen: porridge for Tom, pie for Aunt Polly, a fish for Murka the cat.
Bedtime. Tom does not want to sleep, so your child carries three dreams to him from a little basket.
In the morning Tom paints the fence in the colors your child picks, and Ben comes by with an apple.
Joe Harper challenges Tom, a newspaper turns into a general's hat, and three rounds of tug of war begin.

The punishments from the book are left out. Tom paints the fence because he wants to, and Aunt Polly takes care of him instead of scolding.
